PadiMi is in development. This notice describes its current implementation. Check this page again when downloading the released app; features, permissions and processing may change.
Who operates PadiMi
Meraki Softworks Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 14223666. Registered office: Flat 518, 101 Blackwall Way, London, England, E14 9QX. Contact: hello@padimi.app. The website launch list has a separate privacy notice.
Plans and preferences
The current app stores goals, planned sessions, completion/check-in records, planning preferences and personalisation on the iPhone using local storage. It has no PadiMi cloud account. Your device backup settings may include app data in Apple backups; “local” does not override the backup and security settings you choose for your iPhone.
Optional intelligence
Where available, Apple’s on-device Foundation Models help interpret a goal. The current app does not send goal text to a Meraki-hosted or third-party cloud language model. Deterministic scheduling arranges proposed times. You can use the direct planning method without on-device interpretation. Model availability depends on hardware, operating system, language, region and Apple Intelligence settings. Interpretation can be wrong; review a plan before accepting it.
Calendar, reminders and alarms
If you grant permission, the app reads calendars available through iOS to avoid commitments. Actions you choose can write reviewed sessions to your calendar and create system reminders, alerts or timers. Calendar/reminder providers such as Apple or another account provider may sync those entries according to your account settings. Removing a plan or disconnecting a feature is not a general deletion request to those providers.
Optional iCloud Mail
The current mail connection uses read-only IMAP to your chosen iCloud account. It needs an app-specific password stored in the device Keychain. Messages are read for local review and on-device extraction of possible actions. Suggestions must be reviewed before adding anything to Calendar or Reminders. Full mail bodies and passwords are not stored in the app’s planning database; local excerpts, source identifiers and review history may be retained for this feature. Disconnecting clears its local review data and credentials. You can revoke the app-specific password in your Apple Account.
The mail connection communicates with Apple’s mail service. It is not a promise that email stays offline. Keep private or sensitive information out of support requests.
Optional weather
If enabled and permitted, Core Location supplies a location for Apple WeatherKit to show local conditions. Apple processes the location request to return weather. You can decline or revoke location access and continue planning without weather. Weather attribution is available in the app’s weather settings.
Notifications and device controls
Optional local notifications and alarms remind you about plans or check-ins. Control them through iOS Settings and the relevant app settings. Device permission is an additional control, not blanket consent to unrelated processing.
Our access and service providers
The current app does not contain a Meraki analytics, advertising or session-replay integration. We do not receive your local plans merely because you use the app. If you contact support, we receive what you send and handle it as explained in website privacy. Apple and any connected calendar/mail account provider process the requests and data needed for their services under their own terms. See Apple’s privacy information.
Retention and deletion
Saved plans and preferences remain until you remove them or delete the app’s data. Device backups and entries written to calendar/reminder accounts may persist separately. Use the relevant device/account controls to remove those copies. We cannot erase a local-only database remotely. Contact us for help or to delete information held in our support or website systems.
Legal grounds and audience
Where we determine processing and applicable law requires a legal basis, requested app operations are performed to provide the service, optional uses require permission or consent where applicable, and proportionate support/security can rely on legitimate interests. Do not place another person’s private information into the app without the authority to do so. Read age suitability before use by a young person.
Your privacy choices
Depending on your location and the processing involved, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or receive a copy of your information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and appeal a decision about a request. You may use an authorised agent where the law permits. We do not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
Email hello@padimi.app with “PadiMi privacy” in the subject. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your authority. Do not send passwords or identity documents without asking us first. We respond within the time limits that apply to your request. See privacy request instructions.
You may complain directly to the UK Information Commissioner or the competent privacy regulator where you live, including an EEA supervisory authority. You do not have to contact us before approaching a regulator.
